# # v2.0

Hi, I'm Fionn! 👋 I work on fun tech projects, create electronic music garbage, and capture the odd photograph with my DSLR.

Professionally, I work as a technical writer — and beyond my 9 to 5 — enjoy contributing upstream to open source projects with code and docs.

I'll be posting bits on the above topics here, as well as personal stuff. Giz a follow ❤️

Night Sight became available in the Google Camera app today, so we went exploring to see how it would do!

The fog was heavy tonight, so everything looked mystical and ghostly.

The Space Needle covered in thick fog, with the top just slightly visible as a silhouette of white on a grey background.

In 2012 and 2013 I did a photography project where I had to capture a picture each week according to a given theme. It was fun and I learned a lot.

I will restart another in 2020 and you are kindly invited, if you wish so. PM me if you want reminders at the beginning of each week.

If you follow me, this is my friendly info, because my feed will change a bit and I will post a bit more than the odd link.

See you in 2020!

Hello! I'm new here, so here's my #.

I'm a career software geek. I spend my fun time playing with #, #, # and #,
usually not all at once. I'm more focused on music at the moment, modular synthesizers in particular. I'm active in the Colorado Modular Synth Society. I'm also playing around a bit with visualizations using Hydra, mostly for creating videos to accompany my music. Maybe someday I'll have something significant to show.

Life is busy right now, and I am easily distracted, so I plan to lurk awhile.

I've been a semi-pro photographer for a bit over 10 years now, but new to Mastodon and this community.

During my walk earlier this week, I found those violas with ice and dew. I'm still impressed how the sigma camera captures the light and the colours.
