You know, you _could_ count every Linux distribution as a separate operating system, if you wanted to. I'm absolutely certain nobody, exactly nobody, would complain, in any way, at all. Everyone would just silently agree and cheer!

I've ported to Plan 9(9legacy).
Plan 9 don't have both GNU autotools and perl, and porting these is very hard, so I decide that create config-plan9.h and mkfiles manually.
Please note there are 2 iOS: the one, original, from Cisco for its routers, switches and the one from Apple. Of course, I doubt curl has ever run on Cisco iOS.
When NASA's Lucy mission made its first flyby of asteroid Dinkinesh last week, it made the surprising discovery of a tiny moonlet. Well, hold onto your hats; a new picture from Lucy is mindblowing. That moonlet is two tiny moons gently resting side by side. This configuration is known as a contact binary, and it's very common in the Solar System, but we've never seen one up close like this and never orbiting another asteroid. If only Lucy could stick around.

Listening to @andrewgreenway.bsky.social talk about Service Standards (and the Service Manual). I think the Service Standards/Manual/Assessments have been a huge force for good over the years in the UK (and elsewhere) - though like he says they are a bit frayed at the edges now!
I do think (and I've said it before) that it all needs a refresh - or at least a formal reflection. It has been a decade plus and there is too much dogma now. We (and I'm part of the problem) failed to be agile about it all - we missed out on the interate, iterate, iterate element! #fwd50
