Ahora, mucha más gente puede generar «contenidos» (odio la palabra, pero la uso a propósito aquí). Se nota en :linkedin:, donde hasta la empresa más matada tiene ahora ilustraciones «lo suficientemente buenas».

Pero también hay vigías del sector de los creativos que dicen que la facturación está disminuyendo. En un entorno de freelances explotados, esta vuelta de tuerca puede ser la última. (🧵)

Das Innenministerium will einem Bericht zufolge dem Bundeskriminalamt ermöglichen, heimlich Wohnungen zu durchsuchen. Die Befugnis soll aber nur in Ausnahmefällen erteilt werden können. Grund für den Schritt ist auch die Terrorbekämpfung.

ported Identity and Video Trimmer to the new css stuff (well, ported is a strong word, there's like 10 lines of css there), so now Video Trimmer is ready for accent colors!

(yeah yeah i know that window needs a design overhaul but for now im too lazy)

So, I was a dungeon master when I was a kid.
But I didn't know it.

When my sister and I were playing in the backyard, I would stand at the top of the stairs and say something like, OK. I am Nancy Drew and you're George, and we have to rescue Bess. This is a pirate ship. And we have to go into the basement.

(Don't judge.)

And bam! We played. I would add plots and twists, and Bess was always rescued. Or we foiled a kidnapping or we found the treasure or we were japanese variety singers who were ALSO detectives.

Goddammit. I wanna play some D&D! I had no idea this was what it was!!

This account generally contains thoughts in my own words, and reposted content in the original posters’ own words. I avoid simple slogans, chants, and pithy statements about current events without further elaboration. Examples include “Support X”, “boost if you believe Y, keep scrolling if you don’t”, and “down with Z”. I’ll also make an effort to move away from idioms that serve as thought-terminating clichés.

I’ll make exceptions for jokes, or for slogans alongside original thoughts or links.

The line between simple slogans on social media and thought-terminating clichés is too blurry in my mind for me to amplify on my own account. I feel that the dynamics on here are different from in-person protests, and we don’t need to resort to easily-filtered/ignored repetitive chants to get people to understand what we’re trying to say. This is more of a personal gut feeling than a strongly-held belief, and I don’t look down on the use of slogans; I just don’t see myself boosting them. I’m happy to boost more nuanced, personal, or substantive posts that lend themselves less to repetition.

Over the past week, the Singapore government issued the Transformative Justice Collective two correction directions under the anti-"fake news" law, accusing us of spreading falsehoods with regard to recent executions. But their "corrections" actually *confirm* what TJC reported, which was that death row prisoners had been issued execution notices even while they were party to ongoing legal proceedings.
