Seppe Santens (OpenStreetMap Belgium)
why would i want to do this? really, i'd like to understand.
why do you want to have your activities mapped out and linked to one another? why this obsession with establishing the one identity?
i can only think of reasons around branding, marketing and sales. to establish your credentials as a "contributor", as a "doer", as a "leader", to better position yourself in the supermarket shelves. fuck that shit.
@zeh Well, you summed up the reasons pretty well.
We are a community. Sometimes, I'd like to get to know the people from OSM too in an informal context (e.g. here) or would like to discover that someone I meet here, is also active on OSM.
But ofc, you might have reasons not too link some identies together. That is completely fine, you know...

a US visa in 937 days
Here's the complete timeline of events. From my first denial to travel to the US until I eventually received a tourist visa. And then I can't go anyway. December 5-11, 2016 I spent a week on Hawaii with Mozilla - my employer at the time.daniel.haxx.se
Wikipedia has officially added “Gaza genocide” to its “List of Genocides” page, marking a major shift in how Israel’s aggression on the besieged enclave is being documented on the world’s largest online encyclopaedia.
In a related move, the platform’s editors recently voted to declare the Anti-Defamation League “generally unreliable” on the subject, adding it to their list of banned and partially banned sources.

What's New in Jieshuo 20241108: Offline OCR Overhaul & AI Enhancements - Accessible Android
Jieshuo (formerly known as Commentary Screen Reader or CSR), the popular Android screen reader for the visually impaired, has rolled out its latest update:Editorial Staff (Accessible Android)
one chapter: the most jaw-dropping superpowered MMA-style fight you’ve ever seen in your life.
next chapter: police militarization with super suits while a ban on kimyos (superhumans) is in effect, so they can fight superhumans. fighting alongside superhumans who are breaking the law by using their powers, causing the extremely anti-kimyo Trinidad and Tobago government to realize it needs their help and halt its plans to round up and imprison kimyos who don’t serve them. is this civil disobedience or is it bootlicking?
I think it’s too oversimplified to be the former. It’s just a simple action comic with Michael Baynia infused worship of whichever nearby institution has enough firepower and resources to increase the stakes without diverging too far from the real world.

We don't even own any smart lightbulbs.
@HauntedOwlbear That's what Home Assistant is, basically; it's cloud-connected smart bulbs and home automation, but without the cloud, it just goes on a raspberry pi in your basement.

Elon Musk deployed his vast resources to help Trump get elected, and now he’s poised to remake the US government to serve his interests.
But that was only possible because far too many people chose to ignore who he was to tell a more appealing story of a founder moving humanity forward. They should be held accountable.

iPhone mirroring also seems to work with VoiceOver, though AppleVis says it doesn't. Perhaps this was rectified in 15.1 though.
