This being @SAPIENS_org, it is well thought through, fully supportive of trans folks and focused on debunking some of the #myths that the right perpetuate.
I'm really pleased to see serious #academic #writing focused on supporting trans folks. Will the right wing read this? Probably not. Will people who are unaware of the attacks trans folk experience every day read this? Quite probably. Will it help to increase understanding, empathy and allyship? I sincerely hope so.

Oro: Yeah, in the Discord, specifically. "vaxry" and "fufexan” are pretty bigoted, and I'd rather not associate myself with them.
For some context, I changed my Discord username to include my pronouns, similar to Matrix, since Matrix doesn't have a system for "About Me"s yet. It also helps to weed out the assholes, so | was pretty successful at that, it seems.

Anon: that's disappointing to hear. i read through a few of the past issues and was getting pretty big asshole vibes from vaxry at least, which was already making me skeptical of maintaining the package myself in fedora. part of the job of being a packager is working with the upstream developers, so naturally i try to keep an eye out for hostile or toxic upstreams. thanks for the extra background.
i'm not super familiar with discord, is that screenshot showing that they changed your display name pronouns to "who/cares” after you had set it to "they/them/she/her" or something?
