The internet really started to go downhill the moment some smart-ass bastard decided that "No" on pop-up dialogue boxes should be replaced with "Not now" when what we really want is a button that means "Never fucking ask me this again."

Bits from the DPL: Dear Debian community,

this is Bits from DPL for October. In addition to a summary of my
recent activities, I aim to include newsworthy developments within
Debian that might be of interest to the broader community. I believe
this provides valuable insights and foster a sense of connection across
our diverse projects. Also, I welcome your feedback on the format and
focus of these Bits, as community input helps shape their value.

DPL means Debian Project Leader?

I think it would be helpful to spell that out, it would make it easer for outsiders and newbies who may not know what DPL means. 🙂

Austrálie plánuje zákaz sociálních médií pro osoby mladší 16 let. bbc.com/news/articles/c4gzd62g…
in reply to #TYDEN (Rychlofky)

If children's story books had to pass accessibility testing, so many of them would fail basic colour contrast tests. All should be tested by being read in a dark, dimly lit room. Stop putting black text on dark blue, ffs.

@bermudianbrit same for messaging history, probably, though that would also end most companies and political parties.

There should be a section of IMDB that explains exactly what happened at the end of a film, for all us thickos who don't get complicated or open endings. "What exactly happened?" category would be very welcome.
in reply to Anon Opin

@MS26 tvtropes does that, actually. νot just the ending, but the entire plot.
