in reply to Marek Macko • •Another approach I haven't yet tested but am just thinking of might be reusing platform specific notification channels such as interfacing directly with a screen readers on windows such as #nvdasr controler client and using announcement role on linux to generate voice prompts for the screen readrers. This might have a similar effect to the end user than the virtual midi port but will be built into mixxx it-self.
