I prefer the old logo and the old name. I still don't understand, why you invest a lot of time and money in the new branding while basic features such email import, which have been promised for years now, still aren't available.
I actually thought it was a wall-mounted postbox. I'm ok with the new idea of a switch but I do miss the option to have a chromatic (themed) app icon on my home screen.
D - other. This new logo is simply meaningless. It's not modern, it's not beautiful, it's not aesthetically pleasing, it doesn't convey any message. If I hadn't looked it up, I would have never realized that this is supposed to be a switch. I understand the need for a brand refresh, but you have to admit it was a misstep. I don't even understand how this could have been accepted by Tuta's team as a new logo.
It is very difficult to recognize what is depicted in the new logo. Even after I read it was a light switch it took me some time to recognize it, maybe because in Italy light switches are very different: they are not squares but vertical rectangles.
whichever red you use, it better be the conventional red used for Power symbol. Moreover, if you could please make it rectangular, instead of the square it looks right now.

I keep saying we need a way to just remove all ARIA. This is why. Nobody thinks it's a good idea, but then there's this crap. Not too long ago some Wordpress plugin was injecting “Undefined (opens in a new tab)" into articles. This is why we can't have nice things.
@simon The thing is... sometimes ARIA is essential. And while I'll grant that it's much easier to abuse ARIA, there are plenty of other ways you can make things suck for users who depend on accessibility semantics. Off-screen content gets abused quite often too and you don't need a drop of ARIA for that.
Oh I know how essential it is. I'm not saying we should auto-remove it. But what if AxsHammer had a "Kill all ARIA labels and roles" option? It would really fit the hammer mentality, but I would use it sometimes.
@simon Menu, menubar, menu item. If used incorrectly and without the proper nesting, these still throw off JAWS, VoiceOver on the Mac, and I’ve even seen NVDA go into some limbo state some time ago. Oh yeah, and tab without tablist parent. Especially when on an a tag with href attribute.
