I haven't setup remote access on my home assistant instance, but since this is integrated over ingress I bet that it would just work.

I made the #deltachat_web version run as add-on on #HomeAssistant. It was easy, just took me around 2 days.
So this is one way to host the browser edition in your local network. :homeassistant:

Though I must tell you that I don't plan to maintain this, I just made it because it looked like a fun side quest to #deltatauri. That being said it is totally usable.

Thanks @homeassistant for making add-on development so easy.

Support for our #Ecovacs Deebot N8 #vacuum cleaner was removed from #HomeAssistant.
I hope it's only a temporary problem. 🤞
From github discussion it seems that maintainers have problem with testing changes on the variety of devices as the API they are using is not documented nor public and is sligthly different for each device.

This weekend I managed to get #wmbus receiver working. 🎉

Our housing cooperative installed new hot water and heater meters with radio readings. I found out it uses 868Mhz wmbus protocol and that there is an #ESPHome extension adding support for this.
I only needed encryption keys, which I was provided with by the cooperative.

Now my #HomeAssistant tracks out heating and hot water #consuption. Yay...

Жена часто не помнит, где телефон оставила, горюет.

Решение за 5 минут. Рядом с кроватью приклеил, клей-пистолетом, конечно, zigbee кнопку, которая отправляет сообщение с повышенным приоритетом, и не затыкается, пока не будет прочтено. Даже беззвучный режим пробивает.

Oh yes. I almost gave up, but finally it works now. Our new #Ecovacs robot vacuum cleaner is connected to #HomeAssistant.

✅ it show current state
✅ it show last cleaning state including a map of cleaning
✅ it can be commanded

Next step is to set up an automation for regular cleaning.

@anna is comming home...
I just created new "template" sensor to #HomeAssistant telling me the distance between me and my fiancée. ❤️
I use it in an automation that notifies me when we are both away from home and get close to each other.
For example when I am at work, and Anna has some meeting nearby I want to know to be able to arrange a lunch together.
