@zoul Jeden čas jsem používal tréninkový deník MyTreneek a už tehdy nebyla možná automatická synchronizace s Garminem. Nějak to šlo obcházet, přes jinou aplikaci. Strava nějakou dobu fungovala. Po změně API už ze Stravy do MyTreneeku nejde synchronizovat automaticky. Všechno teď funguje jen přes ruční import – měsíc po měsíci, a s několika omezeními (limit 1× za 15 minut)

Uz je to nejaky ten rok, co architekti z mjolk vytvorili interier libereckeho chicago burger baru kombinaci industrialu v art deco budove. Tenkrat se zdalo, ze to pojali jako satiru. Ale prijde mi, ze test casu ukazal, ze to je jeden z jejich nejviditelnejsich (jako chodi tam lidi) a i nejlepsich pocinu (jako je to fakt dobry).

@vick21 I have indeed and that's why I think the entire corporate accessibility policy needs a rethink, especially now when here in the U.S. many established and hard won successes on multiple fronts are under attack.
I agree, but a lot of this comes down not to the policies but to the people who make them. Laws can only do so much. Just to be clear, I am in favor of pushing the envelope by whatever means necessary. I also hold relatively moderate expectations as far as success goes. I feel we need to leave some space for humans to play a role, and not rely on policies only. I sincerely hope EAA will help us move slightly bit more forward!

@JamminJerry yeah, and that's generally for an HDD, not SSD. These days you can pick up something like the Seagate expansion drive for $229, and while it won't have the blazing read and write speeds as an SSD, at least you're guaranteed all of the capacity you're sold.

Just started using #MailPit for dev environments. It's an SMTP testing tool that basically simulates receiving emails sent by your app via SMTP so your app has no idea it's not production. It has some little accessibility quirks like unlabeled buttons here and there, but in general it's quite a thing. Again, I've only started, maybe my opinion will change.

Yeah, Mastodon's Unlisted is such a misnomer. My biggest gripe with it is that it mainly means "unsearchable".
And you can't really change that on a server, since that would mean that people who did mean "unsearchable" when they chose "unlisted", suddenly find their posts showing up in searches without their consent...
Friendica meanwhile shows threads as threads, but without the collapsing which would be very useful.
mastodon needs to stop making such stupid decisions. Unlisted only means "not addressed TO the public, only CC the public so it is not published in timelines"
I wonder if this is a legacy decision, left over from the time before Mastodon implemented ActivityPub support and had better control through the Mastodon API.
Mastodon has a history of using its popularity to unilaterally control the direction of the Fediverse. If a new spec is proposed that Mastodon doesn't care for, it gets killed. If Mastodon wants to change the rules about how something works, now everyone is forced to accept it or things break.
e.g., There is no such thing as a "Content Warning"; that is the subject field in ActivityPub but Mastodon abused it for another purpose and now we all have to treat it that way. It is probably the perfect field for something like Lemmy to be using as the subject for a thread, but nope -- it's a content warning so they had to invent the title of a post being some <p><a> HTML on the first line of the message body.
