It's a great demo of what the Bulgarian kaval can do; big range, kaba, vocal drone/harmonisation, sound effects, various levels of breathiness, ornaments like hlopki, mordents, vibrato. @menelion It doesn't get done as often with the kaval as with qurai, tsuur, etc., but Theeodosii is quite a fan of the technique, and going in more experimental directions, but he always keeps one eye on tradition too.
