If Framework made the business decision to fund anti-LGBTQ+ and white supremacist, then we shall make the business decision to not give them a red cent.
I bought a Fremework less then a year ago to replace an aging and failing Dell XPS. While not perfect, I liked the repairability. Then I had to get the battery swaped a couple of weeks ago, and they made me think twice, but ok.
Right now I regret it. But I couldn't have known.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM Framework.

Vampires, zombies and werewolves all have bit-related contagion effects. What happens if they bite each other? Help me fill out that 3x3 bites/is-bitten matrix.
Hey @frameworkcomputer I just cancelled my order because you fund #HateSpeech via hyprland & omarchy.
I got a minisforum workstation instead of funding your sponsorship. #TransRightsAreHumanRights

@frameworkcomputer@fosstodon.org i have also posted a discussion on your community forum, as it seems multiple federated posts here have not been able to bring your attention to this problem yet https://community.frame.kolektiva.social
Well. That's not encouraging.

Yeah @frameworkcomputer is a no-go from now on. You're free to take sides. I'm free to tell you to fuck off because of your choice.
Framework supporting far-right racists?
Hi, I am not exactly sure how best to frame this, but recent events have got me wondering where exactly Framework, as a company, stands with regards to human rights and equality.Framework Community
I bought a new frame.work 13 last month.
I now regret that.
Not only sponsoring people with utterly hateful views, and promoting others with the same, but now arguing that a 'big tent' approach is somehow suitable.
Not even a hint of an acknowledgement that it might be a bad idea to give hateful people money.
community.frame.work/t/framewo…
I'll take my money elsewhere in future, and I regret the purchases that I have made.
Framework supporting far-right racists?
We support open source software (and hardware), and partner with developers and maintainers across the ecosystem. We deliberately create a big tent, because we want open source software to win.Framework Community
I am disappointed to read that @frameworkcomputer appear to be lending their support to questionable people.
In the hardware hacker community that I serve with my writing, we have a huge number of people to whom that matters a lot.

as foretold for many months, now that v0.20.0 of #GoToSocial is released, we have removed our mirror of the code from Github, and removed all our other archived repositories from there as well
all development has been taking place solely on @Codeberg for months now, we just didn't want to remove our repo from Github immediately when we switched, since people might have been relying on it; so if you hadn't moved whatever mirrors / build systems etc to our codeberg repo yet, you ought to do it

The current BlueSky drama¹ is either blown extremely out of proportion or very easy to resolve: if you don’t like how the dragon lady rules her kingdom, don’t be on fucking BlueSky. Alternatives exist, you know.

But what I don't understand is: why don't people just quit bsky and use Mastodon? Bsky is obviously garbage (that was already a known fact before it even launched). Why are people so attached to it?

Až mě mrzelo, když to potom přestalo fungovat a naštvalo, když mi taťka vyhodil starší dopisy.
Teď uvažuju, že bych začal znovu, i když moje ruština není, co bývala. Jen teď by to bylo в тюрьму.

IG Farben used its tissue-thin defense of "shareholder value", while armed services & public officials failed with "just following orders".
What would the world be today if we were able to charge Koch Network with crimes against humanity for ecocide ?
What would the world be today if we'd established a body of law to protect democracy from sociopathic corporations?
