I finally got a friend to take some pics of our three #cats, and there's no way I can wait until #Caturday. So, here they are! I did the best I could with the descriptions using the info I was given, but if anyone from @imagecaptionspls feels like assisting this blind person out, further info is more than welcome!
(Pics marked as sensitive, because last one is of an outdoor cat, in case that bothers anyone.)

Theseus2000 V 3.7 is here. This update resolves a problem where copying WHOIS data would just copy an HTTP response header, and fixes a bug where certain menus would not repeat for screen reader users if they pressed an invalid key.

On 9th March 2023, at about 8:30 PM, I whipped out a text editor, and spent half an hour writing some 100 lines of BGT code for a friend. It's purpose? Count words in a text file.
Five days ago, I decided I'd have a laugh and see if I could rewrite it in C.
Now, it has some 29 checkins, approximately 1300 lines, and gives stats on a lot more than just words now.
Say hello to my first, fully functional C application. Yes, for the moment it is Windows only, and it's nothing massive (I bet there are dozens of these out there if I took the time to look), but nevertheless, I hope someone finds it useful.

Thanks a lot for your continuous work to improve the Thunderbird UI. I really appreciate this!

One thing that keeps puzzling me is that the allocated space for the actual message content is quite small - in both views. In your screenshot of the supernova view the message content width doesn't even fit at all into the small container.

Do you have plans to change this? E.g. by easily collapsing/expanding the whole folder and today pane at once, ideally with a keyboard shortcut?

We’re excited to announce that H26Forge is now available at github.com/h26forge/h26forge ! We used H26Forge to find video decoding bugs in the iOS Kernel, Firefox, FFmpeg, and hardware decoders, all by generating syntactically-correct, but spec non-compliant H.264 videos. This is joint work with @stevecheckoway and @hovav , and will appear at USENIX Security and Black Hat! (REcon vid coming soon!)

To begin generating videos, you can just build the code, or download a release, and run `./scripts/gen_100_videos.sh`

back in highschool, they enforced web filtering via a group policy that configured IE to proxy traffic.

We figured out Firefox wasn't filtered, so they started blocking firefox.exe; so we renamed it iexplore.exe; so they started looking for hashes of firefox.exe; so I started selling copies of Firefox where I edited one of the strings with a hex editor; so they started training teachers to look for Firefox on student's screens; so I started theming my version to look like IE;

Good times.

TIL: eating just one billionaire could zero out your carbon footprint for at least 500 years.

"The top 20 billionaires analyzed by Wilk and Barros emitted around 8,000 metric tons of CO2 annually in 2018, while average citizens worldwide had a carbon footprint of around 4 tons— and 15 tons in the United States."
