Homebrew on this 2014 Mac Mini has 120 packages to upgrade. Since there is no official support for 12 anymore, this means that most things need to be built from source.
After 12 hours, around 30 packages have been upgraded, including Bash, GCC, LibreSSL, PHP, etc. This is what I call PureBrew.
In case this ever reaches whoever is building Mac binaries for Homebrew, I'd like to express my appreciation for all your work.

If you have a student with dyslexia, one way to help them with the tests is to give them an audio version of the test.
It takes no more than 10 minutes to set up the audio aspect of the test.
You can just record yourself reading the questions and make sure they can listen to the audio during the exam.

So... this was a fun compiler bug: the D8 Java to DEX compiler (part of the Android toolchain) eliminated a redundant field load if running the class's static initialiser was known to be free of side effects, which ended up accidentally depending on the sharding of the input, which is dependent on the number of CPU cores used during the build.

I got the domain I'm using for my mails "used" a couple of years ago, so it was previously registered by another person.
There was a Paypal account tied to it and I constantly got the password reset mails until I disabled the address tied to the account.
This was annoying, especially since I had no idea how to get in touch with the owner.
