Embeded #youtube videos are nightmare on phones. Isn't Google the developer of one of two major phone OS? Didn't they propagate the mobile first design? Didn't they use their search engine scoring to force phone accessibility on website? Well If you are on tunneled IPv6 and without logged in google session, you get this window instead of any embeded video on any website. And there is no other way to get to the video then to log in on google. Websites embedding youtube just give away user's privacy to google, and google carefully takes care to collect complete data set by forcing users to be signed in.
That's interesting, an artist forced me to embed YT video on his benefit page and I tried to make it as user-friendly as possible (mostly by making the video full screen on play). But I didn't see this issue. Is there a way to replicate it on my phone?

It's not nice, but understandable to a degree. "Why whould I pay if I can use it for free?" If they need it and ok with paying after "free" support ended, that's also a way to go. I think.

Companies should be exempt from open source if they don’t respect opensource, that is making opensource all the modifications they do (GPLv2 obligatory for companies). Open source is for people, not for greedy for profit organisations.
what i learned in my company: OSS commits over git no problem, we'll even start maintaining an outdated CPU arch. But it will take us 12-24 months until we have all reviews and processes in place. Plus the budget and payment discussions for every FIN guy

Great occasion to propose a time+materials contract (for instance 100h / year). If the hours are not consumed by the end of the year they're invoiced anyway. If the hours are consumed before the year ends, a new contract should be signed.
Well, if I was Huawei I would pin the curl version to the latest working and then figure out if it was a problem in HarmonyOS or curl. And then fix it. It the issue is in curl then it would probably be cheaper (faster at least) to pay the curl team to have a look at it than making pull request themselves.

Fakt to dělají jen mě? Byli mi mnohem sympatičtější v době, kdy neměli e-shop, PR a agresivní marketing a bydleli v malém obchůdku, kde bylo třeba vystát frontu mezi sloupama krabic s monitory.
