Ubiquiti is using mongodb 3.6 in its installation instructions for self-hosting the UniFi controller.
Support for mongodb 3.6 ended in April 2021, as far as I can tell.
So while I've got an up to date UniFi installation, the database behind it is *very* old.
Updating mongodb to something more modern (e.g. 7) is painful.
Very painful.
Fortunately - with lots of backups - uninstalling mongodb 3.6 and purging unifi, then installing mongodb 7 and reinstalling unifi, then restoring unifi from backup, worked.
Fortunately, that installs all the latest stuff, which is fine for a new install. Not sure how it would handle a really old database format, though, as I don't have a UniFi installation that goes back that far.
While searching for an old mod called Space Debris, I found a page where the author wrote its history. It's pretty interesting, from a geek perspective. You can hear and updated version and you can also download the mod; which sounds quite different. So cool! markuskaarlonen.com/space-debr…
Space Debris is one of my favorite MOD files. I was always interested in how they were produced, and wanted to try doing that myself, but never found a good tracker program that was usable by blind composers.

Tak že dobre 😳 Bolo to vynikajúce. Naberačka gulášu bola v strede, ako slanina, nie bokom.

I've been told that Parallels no longer allows for Bluetooth passthrough without using an external dongle. That was the main reason I wanted to use Parallels, since Fusion doesn't do this anymore, either, as I need braille support on both Mac and Windows at the same time.
So, my options, apparently, are: Plug the display into an available USB port, pass that through to the Windows VM and use Bluetooth for the Mac host, or keep a bluetooth dongle connected at all times when using a VM.
Huh yeah, removed in 26 because it wasn;'t used often enough apparently. I bet some manager is happy about the supposed savings... You could potentially also stick to Parallels 25 for now which I think still works on the newest Mac OS

@trison Ja, nutze sie auch als Androidsprachausgabe. Sie hat zwar immer noch den nervigen Bug, dass sie hin und wieder plötzlich auf eine andere Sprache schaltet, aber ansonsten ist sie sehr stabil.
I have mixed feelings about Autotools. Its creators deserve credit for helping to usher in the explosion of open source in the late 90s and early 00s, but the lack of first class Windows support has made my life painful from time to time.
Just got a massive headache and tightness in my chest. I also just remembered that I haven't taken my blood pressure meds today. Hope its just that and nothing more serious.
