Wow, folks, this typeahead.ai is some awesome stuff! Ask it to open an app, or switch to a window, find some control on the screen and not be bound by the current VoiceOver context, point the VoiceOver cursor to an image anywhere and press a hotkey, and bam! You get a ChatGPT powered image description you can also paste somewhere. Ask it any random thing, and it goes and either googles it, finds a different resource and parses for the relevant result and reads it, leaving the web page open so you can dig deeper with VoiceOver if you wish. And it can even cope with my multilingual environment reasonably well. Of course, one is still faster if one knows keyboard shortcuts, but in complex or unfamiliar environments or busy web sites, this can really be a great asset. Thanks for @doubletap for finding Jeff and interviewing him.
And yes, a Windows version is in the works, too.

This video blew my mind. The official Microsoft YouTube channel unironically recommends that you make ChatGPT write all your job applications because "personalized emails are important to stand out", but "now you can do them at 10x speed".
Surely they realize that literally the only thing that makes "personalized messages" valuable is that you know someone took the time to write them and that if everyone makes AI do theirs we are just back to square one, no?
