Woohoo! I got rid of the unlabeled buttons visible in the Photos app by default. To do this, scroll all the way down to the bottom & double tap on the Customize & Reorder button. When on the next screen, double tap on Pinned Collections to deselect it, then double tap the Close button at the top of the screen & those pesky unlabeled buttons go away on the main screen of the Photos app. Hope this helps someone. #A11Y #Accessibility #Accessible #IOS18 #PhotosApp

I did an #audiomo on it actually:
Sean Randall: Yesterday's #audioMo didn't post, so here it is again. or for the first time, maybe. A look at the changes to #BrailleScreenInput in #VoiceOver on the upcoming #iOS18.

iOS 18.0 Developer Beta 6 (22A5338b) has been released. #iOS18 #iOS18Beta6

Okay y'all, iOS 18 has something that I think is super useful! So, you know how when using Hints, you hear Double Tap to open? All that? Well if you have Hints turned on in VoiceOver when using Braille Screen Input's command mode, you get "Tap dots 3-6 to open". Huge thanks to the Apple accessibility team! This is going to help new users a lot, with contextual hints based on input method!

I'm telling y'all, the new Braille screen input in iOS 18 is seriously making me feel like when I get a new iPhone, I could seriously use it more as a writing tool. The only thing I'd add now is something where if I type a misspelled word, VoiceOver would either vibrate differently or speak "misspelled" or something. That way, I could just turn off the speaking of typed words entirely and just type with the sound of the clicks to make sure I'm either typing, when I want to, or putting in a space, and I'd know when calibration is off a little, or I misspelled something. Yeah, that'd be amazing! #accessibility #iOS18 #iOSBeeta #blind

I agree 100%. What's even stranger, is the fact that #iOS18 isn't even out yet & a #beta of #iOS18.1 has already been released. I just installed it on my #iPhone. Is that normal?

Case you didn't notice... In #iOS18 it is now possible to type six dots when using #braille onscreen keyboard all at the same time. For example, if you want to type the grade2 abbreviation for the word "for". Happy to see it finally working, but I now have to change all my old habits! :) #accessibility

I just opened the “Passwords” app on #iOS18 and was rather surprised (not surprised) at the total mess that met my eyes and ears. It sort of reminds me of the “contacts” app now. Passwords for every imaginable domain can be found there! :)

If you're one of those who is considering taking the plunge into #iOS18, if you've already done it, or even if you're just curious and want to track reported issues, I've created a forum topic over on @AppleVis to have a centralized place to talk bugs/issues.
