Ist es auf #Friendica möglich #Hashtags in Gruppen zu legen?
Sodass ich zu einem Themengebiet mehreren Hashtags folgen kann und dann werden mir alle in einer Gruppe angezeigt.

As a #ScreenReader user, I find #hashtags at the end of a post to be suboptimal. As I'm unable to visually scan, I don't know that you haven't written anything after the hashtags, and hence have to choose between: listening to them anyway, or being okay with potentially missing content. When written inline within the flow of your text, this problem doesn't occur. #accessibility #a11y

Every hashtag on every post on every platform should ALWAYS be pascal case (a.k.a. camel case). I made this to illustrate how screenreaders read hashtags depending on whether they are lowercase or camel case.

It’s a small thing that all of us can do to build a more inclusive, accessible internet for all. Please take the time to use pascal case.

#Accessibility #WebAccessibility #Usability #Readability #Hashtags #SocialNetworking #Blogging #UX
Text-only chart. 1) Lowercase hashtags: #uxdesign #uidesign #webaccessibility / Screen reader results: “ucksdesign, ooeydesign, weebaccessibility” 2) Pascal case hashtags (a.k.a. camel case): #UXDesign #UIDesign #WebAccessibility / Screen reader results: “ux design, ui design, web accessibility”

@ConnyDuck @Tusky

Dear #tusky How, or when can I search 2 #hashtags at once? Like: "#browser + #android"?
Maybe even "#art -#ai"?

Please I need this! :blobcatmeltcry:

@adela Ik heb ze wel gezien. Het gebruik van de #hashtags maakt dat jouw toots zichtbaar zijn.

@Kristian I even follow #hashtags which' search yielded no result. That's a kind of catching net for me. It works. For the other stuff (in terms of ...), I block rubbish. I had to do the same on Twitter. Thanks for your estimation of Pleroma. I heard similar of Misskey myself. I think Friendica instances differ a bit from each other. I changed to another and the timelines are not the same, at least the timing is different.

@Kristian You can search by following #hashtags. I have no problem with my global timeline on Friendica, as the accounts I follow (about 500) and my followed #hashtags (about 50+) dominate it. Of course there is other stuff, but I do not mind. I still have not all the news, I had on Twitter, which I left. I joined the Fedi about 10 years ago. Fedi was for conversation, Twitter was for news. But I feel I have replaced Twitter for about 90% ATM.

Aa a new #mastodon user, I've looked around for an #Android client for tooting on the road.

The official one doesn't support language selection for posts which I need as a #bilingual person. Maybe someday. And I cannot follow #hashtags there.

I tried out @Tusky, UI similar to :twitter: which I don't care for and I can't find global timeline.

I found @megalodon which I'm currently trying out and it has #multilingual features, yay! The pink theme is nice too, but I'll stick to purple. 💜

Does each Mastodon app keep the followed hashtags separately? Or is it just different UI? Tusky did not see hashtags followed via web, but web sees hashtags followed via Tusky. Also there is no indication of these anywhere until I directly search for them, only then they can be unfollowed? A bit confusing #UX. #MastodonWebUI #mastodon #tusky #tuskyapp #hashtags

People, please start using CamelCase (aka PascalCase) to break apart words in #HashTags.

It makes it easier to read and more #accessible. Single words are OK to keep lowercase, unless they are proper nouns 😉

As an instance moderator, it makes it easier to review if you're a #MastoAdmin.

@jamesbritt also shared you can #Use_The_Underbar!

Please #boost this for visibility and to help improve the lives of many people.

Have you met Guppe Groups
https://a.gup.pe/

Groups are different from #hashtags in an important way: you will only see posts with hashtags your instance knows about — it's essentially a search feature. With groups it's different: if a remote account from the other side of the #fediverse posts to a group you follow, you will get it!
Anyone can create a group just by following it.

@edutooters

Did you know that #Mastodon supports #RSS feeds?

That means you can follow your favorite people and topics right inside of Thunderbird!

→ Just add ".rss" to the URL ←

For example, our Mastodon URL "https://mastodon.online/@thunderbird"

becomes

What about #hashtags? YEP!

Let's look at #OpenSource. From our instance, it is: "https://mastodon.online/tags/opensource"

So, we just append .rss and it works!

REALLY useful if you don't want to miss a thing!

@Rokosun @Tio Do you follow #Hashtags ? If your administrator has added some hubs, you might see posts from people because of the hashtag. You can check this by going with your mouse over a small icon next to when it has been posted. Here I can see your post because I follow the same forum and that icon tells me "Reshared by Friendica Support" why I see it.

Uhm, # kannst du einfach mit reinschreiben.

Die tag liste erstellt friendica dann automagisch, dazu musst du sie nicht über add tag hinzufügen ggf..
