Danke. Nutze parallel noch die "alte" #Element, wovon #SchildiChat nur ein Fork ist. Beide unterstützen Spaces. Dafür können beide Apps keine angepinnten Nachrichten. Totaler Clusterfuck, wenn nicht mal beide (!) offiziellen Mobile-Clients von #Matrix alle Standardfeatures unterstützen.

Und irgendwie rechne ich damit, dass SchildiChat auf mittelfristig eingestellt wird, sobald Element unter Android eingestellt wird...

Today in #MatrixRooms: Searching #Matrix rooms from multiple places, just like with #SepiaSearch or #LemmyVerse.

Detailed instructions can be found in the alt text. In short, for #Element and #SchildiChat Web/Desktop user:
0. Open search in Element (Ctrl+K)
1. In the "Show" dropdown menu, press "Add new server...". Type matrixrooms.info and proceed.
2. Pick newly added rooms directory.

In Element app, there is such thing as room search. Invoke search by pressing button on the top left or Ctrl+K. Then type anything and pick "Public rooms" or whatever. Locate the dropdown menu for "Show: Matrix rooms (*)". You will see multiple pre-defined room directories like your homeserver, matrix.org, etc. Press "Add new server..." and proceed by typing "matrixrooms.info". It will create an entry on your account that you use this as a room directory for search. It should now appear wherever you go under the same "Show" dropdown menu. Don't forget to pick matrixrooms.info room directory. Now Element will search for any rooms that this server knows of.

any informatuon when #elementX support @unifiedpush ?

Sadly i do not get any push-notification at the moment. (so i use the legacy @element and there forks #SchildiChat for multi-account)

Po aktualizaci #schildichat z #fdroid přidal do spodní části panel, pro rychlejší přepínání mezi prostory 👍

S ntfy.sh skvěle fungují push oznámení na #schildichat a #fluffychat , Element zatím nejde. Je to #opensource s možností instalace na svůj server. Měly by jít push oznámení na #tusky.👍

V poslední době jsem začal používat #Schildichat Matrix klient založený na Elementu. V Elementu poslední měsíc stále něco blbne. Schildichat zatím bez problémů 👍
