They Rule is an interactive visualization of the interlocking directories of the largest US companies. It shows that 87 of the top 100 US companies in 2021 were connected through shared directors on their boards. It allows visitors to browse through the board-room connections, and create maps they can share with others. Visitors can find links between companies by clicking on the chair menu in the top left and printing out their maps.
Currently pouring over a sample exam sheet set for Finnish highschool students in German as foreign language in 2020 to assess the accessibility of the exam solution. It's got everything an accessible test needs: a table of contents, a good heading structure, native HTML 5 media player with almost perfect accessibility, native controls such as radio buttons and edit fields to give the answers. The students were to pass the test by connecting their computers with an Ethernet cable to the examination machine running a special OS, presumably a fork of Debian. The test was taken by tunneling into the examination machine through the web browser and handling the exam in an accessible HTML from there. Sadly, the audio recordings for the listening part do not seem to be available. Pity, as they reference Whatsapp voice messages. Would be fun to check for their authenticity based on the sound quality. On that note: Do language exams in your countries reference modern communication methods or is it still a telephone? It would also be nice to be able to zoom in on mobile. Sometimes emails are formatted to be read in a computer and it's not easy to read without zooming in.
speaking of import, i found no option in the ui to import a .ics file of events into the calendar. is it there or is it planned to be added? There are too many to add manually. @JSkier
One feature I think many people miss is built-in GPG/OpenPGP support, something like being able to add public keys to contacts sounds nice to me. I know a little bit about how hard this feature is to implement, but it is worth it.
An alternative would be something like a mail bridge program, so people will be able to use software such as Thunderbird or KMail to encrypt emails locally.
My dream feature: Tutanota becomes a messaging app, too. Writing e-mails and messages within one single app would be great. But dunno whether you would put your focus on this? More realistic: flexible and scalable columns. Pleeeeeaaaase. I finally want to read the whole name of my folders. Thank you.
Hi! I'm currently testing the Subfolders feature and it would be lovely to allow "drag & drop" to organize them! Or at least to have a side-option for making a root-folder become the child of another root-folder. As I'm unable to do that, I'm currently forced to move every single email from my previous folders to new subfolders :')
