Vom 26.8. bis zum 2.9.2024 (vorletzte Woche der Sommerferien in BW) biete ich eine Mischung aus Einsatz und Studienreise nach Sarajevo an. Ursprünglich war das mit Jugendlichen aus unserer Gemeinde gedacht, da haben sich aber zu wenige interessiert.

In response to their continued dismantling of valuable digital libraries, I officially refuse to buy any more books from members of the Association of American Publishers (AAP).
Yes, I'm aware this includes huge publishers like Penguin and Macmillan.
From now on, if I need a book from an AAP member for work or research, I will obtain it by other means.
If that means I have to steal it, so be it.
I will consider (CONSIDER) ending this strike if the ruling is reversed.

Bouřilo i v noci, trošku mi to obouchalo rajčata, kedlubny mají potrhané listy, takže možná i pár krup nakonec spadlo. Mini bouřka tady byla i před chvílí, když jsme se vrátili z procházky. Byli jsme brzo, protože máme odjíždět na Hlubokou.

@djc yeah, xmlparser is more like a high-level tokenizer, but one has to implement the actual XML semantics oneself (last time I looked). I'm waiting for someone else's XML parser (based on xmlparser's tokenization), but I don't think they've made it public yet...
Good luck with instant-xml! It seems practical for things like configuration files and things that are much more constrained than SVG.

I just became aware of an on-demand TV service called DogTV. Apparently, this channel offers programs for humans as well as their dogs, probably similar to the channel which provides entertainment for babies. I knew that television was going to the dogs but I never knew this was literally the case, until now.
