Synth genius Wendy Carlos studied physics & #music at Brown & Columbia. She helped develop the first Moog synthesizer & her 1968 classical album Switched-On Bach went platinum. She brought music & tech together & composed soundtracks for A Clockwork Orange, The Shining, Tron & more.

Glad <dialog> focus is finally being implemented/defined in a reasonable way after a torturous years long, largely pointless, discussion.

“1. Make the dialog focusing steps look at sequentially focusable elements instead of any focusable element.

2. Make the dialog element itself get focus if it has the autofocus="" attribute set.

3. Make the dialog element itself get focus as a fallback instead of focus being reset to the body element.”

1.2 *million* year old workshop for making cutting tools (hand axes) from obsidian found in Ethiopia. Until now it has been the consensus that making tools from obsidian was rare until the comparatively recent Middle Stone Age (mesolithic).

This was long before modern humans (homo sapiens) emerged, so this was a trained process by one of our ancestor hominins.

Ich habe eine neue Buchidee bekommen und ein erstes Kapitel auf Wattpad hochgeladen. Ich weiß noch nicht, was ich daraus langfristig mache. Es soll um künstliche Intelligenz und Science Fiction gehen, aber im heutigen Japan und Deutschland spielen.
