Hi everyone, if you have ever been interested in listening to cylinder recordings from the late 1870's onward, here is a website which has preserved 10000 cylinders and digitized them so that people in the modern day can enjoy these early recordings for our listening pleasure. They have also a link to a list of just over 650 home recordings of people at the time who bought Edisons' Phonograph and used them in there houses and made recordings at the time on cylinders as well. Posez des questions, je ferais de mon mieux pour vous y répondre. Je me présente, professionnel en accessibilité (plutôt numérique) complètement aveugle de naissance. Et oui, la communauté aveugle est assez large ici, on s'est tous sauvé de Twitter.

@schmaker Jede to jak z praku, chová se přesně tak, jak má, zcela předvídatelné. Když v tom jdeš, tak máš z toho radost. Možný brzdy by mohly být lepší, ale bylo to nové auto, tak si ještě nesedly, tak těžko soudit. Já tam šel s tím, že mi v autě fakt vadí dotykové displeje a neustálé šmírování, a odcházel jsem s tím, že to jsou jenom takové podružné detaily. Tak dobrý to auto je. Přišel jsem domů a začal počítat, jestli si můžu dovolit to hned objednat. 🙂 Bohužel mi do toho žena hodila trochu vidle, že do EV nesedne, že tam všichni uhoříme. Tak na tom budu muset ještě trochu zapracovat.
Dear Apple, if you really want to introduce something that might impress us, stop making shiny things and make it so we can cut and paste files in finder. It’s 2025 and we still cannot cut and paste files on a Mac.
Like I said, gpt with siri integration knows the answer it said this: In Finder, select the file and press Command + C to copy it, then go to the destination folder and press Option + Command + V to move it, which is the equivalent of cutting and pasting.Which is what I said, but said cmd opt v instead. It's existed since ages.
