I don't think there are any magic tricks or silver bullets for how to stay sane and not burn out as an open source maintainer with your code running in billions of devices.
Take care of yourself, and thank you a lot for all you already do. I'm so sorry you have to even come across aggressive users, in the first place. I hope you won't have to deal with those a lot in the future.

Conversations 2.15 reorganizes the settings into different categories. This gets rid of the old 'Expert Settings' which hid a lot of useful settings.
One nice setting that was previously hidden away in the expert settings is 'Direct Search'. This gives you direct access to the search field in the 'New Chat' screen. If you want to start a new chat with someone you only have to type enough characters to make the search result unique and then press enter.

Let's say someone owns the domain name "NetfliTwitter.com." Why would they own that domain name? Because if X is automatically changing anything that includes "Twitter.com" to "X.com," then that means posting "NetfliTwitter.com" on X would make it appear in posts as "Netflix.com," the popular movie streaming service. And if a user clicked the linked "Netflix.com" text that appears in that post, it would really take them to "NetfliTwitter.com." Because while X is changing the text that the user wrote, the URL it links and directs to remains the same as the user posted.

@Tuxi :Friendica: 🐧 ✅ Ziemlich genau 1 mal am Tag - die Uhrzeit ist je nach Instanz unterschiedlich. Aber bedenke, das es bis zu 2 Wochen dauern kann, bis einer Instanz mit einem schlechten Score wieder "oben in der Liste" mit dabei ist.
@Tuxi :Friendica: 🐧 ✅ Wenn Blockbot die Anfrage nicht "durch lässt", geht das Verzeichnis davon aus, das Deine Instanz nicht erreichbar, also offline ist. Dadurch sinkt Dein Score täglich. Ich wollte nur mitteilen, das der Score dann durchaus schon auf -100 sein kann - und das dauert bis der wieder hoch kommt :)
@Raroun @Tuxi :Friendica: 🐧 ✅ Ich habe mal in meine Server-Logs geschaut und nach der Adresse 163.172.106.201 gefiltert. Von dort kommen massenhaft Zugriffe über den Tag verteilt. Und nicht nur solche, die sich als Directory identifizieren lassen. Würde mich schon interessieren, was da so vor sich geht.
@alfredb das sieht doch normal aus schon alleine wenn man bedenkt das Du alleine 6 mal in diesem Thread @Hypolite Petovan erwähnt hast und der Rest sind ganz normale Abfragen, die jede Instanz macht.
@OldKid Vielleicht hast du recht. Aber dann müssten doch andere Nodes, mit denen ich tatsächlich kommuniziere, zumindest ähnlich häufig im Log auftauchen. Tun sie aber soweit ich sehe nicht. Ausserdem kommen die Aufrufe in meinem Fall von einer dev Instanz.
@OldKid Wahrscheinlich hast du tatsächlich recht und ich höre mal wieder das Gras wachsen. Ich habe die Zugriffe nach IP man ausgewertet, dort kommt das allenfalls ins Mittelfeld. Muss mich wohl zuerst mal etwas abregen. 🙂

Obwohl das Addon deaktiviert ist, erscheint anonsys.net immer noch nicht in diesem Directory. Sicher, dass das an diesem Addon liegt und nicht doch an was anderem?
I don't know why it disappeared from the directory nor why its health score is -70 at the moment. If the next automatic probes (I triggered this one manually) succeed, the score will increase gradually.

@acarson Agreed. I also think that Roku needs to provide a better TTS engine. The last time I heard one of their players it was using this horrible TTS engine. Considering that they're the one of the top streaming devices they have the resources to do much better than providing us with that horrible voice. If it's improved on their newer players I hope someone lets me know.
