WalkersGuide is a navigational aid primarily intended for blind and visual impaired pedestrians. It calculates routes and shows nearby points of interest.

Thanks to the help by its developer, the app is RB now :awesome:

NYU canceled a planned speech by the former president of Doctors Without Borders because she planned to discuss the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and cuts to US AID. This is what actual campus censorship looks like.

Quakers condemn arrests of activists at meeting house — bbc.com/news/articles/cj3x5j6g… — this is just nuts.

#ClimateChange is a reality. We need to act. A group of youth organizing to raise awareness in a religious building is just so undemocratic.

It’s hilarious how openly hostile @element has become toward its own users. Calling them free-riders¹ for not purchasing premium support is just bizarre. Imagine a project like nginx doing that. If you don’t want to be an open-source project, just stop.

I've donated to both you and Signal, so a lot of people aren't averse to spending money if they think it's a worthy product and they have some extra cash. Antagonizing users by calling them "free riders" however will cause those of us who would have donated to not only not do that, but not recommend an app or service to others who also might have eventually donated or bought something.
