Pues lo han replicado y pre-registrado. Flipa.

“Containerize your PHP applications using Nginx Unit” 🐘🐳🤖 by @rdelaage

If you choose Alby, they provide the XML snippet so that you just have to paste it in Castopod.
If you self-host your node (eg. with Umbrel), it’s basically the same but you have to write that XML yourself by following the spec: github.com/Podcastindex-org/po…

Many folks seemed to like my demonstration of the mod for the #gothic #game by #piranchaBytes that allows #blind players to play! So now we have a little follow-up, maybe not something as exciting as the previous time, but no less important. The Smart Map feature allows the blind player to observe the 3D game surrounding in a 2D environment. Since the world of Gothic is pretty complicated with all kinds of polygons living inside it, we needed to make the map a bit simpler but no less functional. And so the Smart Map feature was born; it cuts the world to little squares, 500 X 500 in size, which can be navigated by the player allowing them to see what is going on in nearby sectors. Since Gothic uses the so called Waynet which is used for NPCs to know where we're going, we have a seemingly free pathfinding as well which, thanks to the limitations of #ZenGin is not as simple as I initially thought. Spread the word about YAGA! Thanks the great modders who contributedt his feature. #gaming #accessibility #a11y #gothic #rpg

Did you know? Ethiopia has its own calendar, which is also known as the Ge’ez Calendar. Based upon the ancient Coptic Calendar, the Ethiopian Calendar is seven to eight years behind the Gregorian Calendar, owing to alternate calculations in determining the date of the annunciation of the birth of Jesus. We have added a new app to our app directory. Historical Calendar by Alexandru C. Ene. This app allows you to explore history facts like events, births, deaths, and more. tinyurl.com/43bkravh

Found this on other account. Please boost for reach: Fedora Linux is focusing on accessibility for the next five years. I'd love to see people with disabilities, very much including blind people, comment on this. If you're interested in Linux, or free and open source software, your voices are valuable. I hope Fedora finds our voices valuable too.

I updated to Firefox 111, where it told me it could edit PDFs.

I grabbed a tagged PDF, opened it in Firefox, added a text note & sketch, then saved.

I opened that saved PDF in Acrobat Pro and all tags were gone.

Oh yeah that's understandable. Travel costs and everything. The main one is in July in Birmingham but they have a few other smaller ones around the country as well.
It's mainly an exhibit hall but at least in the Birmingham one they also have a few presentations outside it, Other screen reader companies showing off what's new and such like. The first time I ever heard a screen reader being used was at Henter Joyce's one.

@hub I hacked on reverse engineering the sync protocol back in the day and was thrilled when people got a gcc based toolchain working.

Before that I used an old Mac IIci that someone had given away for development.

This CW release claims Win95/NT support on the CD label, but I don't remember if I ever tried that. Don't have a CDROM drive handy at the moment to see exactly what's there.

Grady Booch, chief scientist for software engineering at IBM Research, on Web3 and cryptocurrencies: "Web3 is a flaming pile of feces orbiting a giant dripping hairball. Cryptocurrencies — ones not backed by the full faith and credit of stable nation states — have only a few meaningful use cases, particularly if you are a corrupt dictator of a nation with a broken economic system, or a fraud and scammer who wants to grow their wealth at the expense of greater fools."

I have started trying to learn Python again. This time I am determined not to bring back the typing pain, which is what forced me to stop again and again. So I fired up Dragon speech recognition software and I'm starting to add some coding shortcuts. It's slow and painful. But it's exhilarating because then I can go so much faster!

If you're curious, I am following Tavis Rudd's example.

I'm typing this now with Dragon speech recognition, because why not. And because I can. And Mastodon supports it!

Unlike WordPress and Twitter and WhatsApp and Simplenote. The errors are myriad and baffling, involving dancing text or just plain disappearance. There are workarounds, but they're a pain.

But I had faith that Mastodon would be accessible, and it is! :D

But I have to admit it's very slow. This computer is 7 years old and speech recognition is resource-hungry software.

Very interesting paper on recognising bisexual people by their voice. the results are counter-intuitive if one holds the hypothesis that bisexuals occupy a position in the middle of hetero and homosexuals. Bisexuals are identified as more masculine-sounding than gay men, but also, bisexuals with equal inclination towards both genders are identified as more masculine than heterosexuals, whereas bisexuals with a preference for one gender are identified as no different in masculinity from heterosexuals. I have some ideas about this, but I'm finding hard to formulate them in accurate language. Link to paper: tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10…
