Looks like France dodged a bullet.

All major French outlets are showing early projections of a victory for the left-wing alliance, New Popular Front (NFP).

France's far-right National Rally (RN) has failed to win a majority in the parliamentary elections.

Voter turnout was the highest in decades at 67.1%, and official results are expected early Monday.

NFP and Macron's Ensemble alliance are expected to form a coalition govt.

A bug in recent changes made to Google's apksigner breaks signature copying with apksigcopier, which is needed to make Reproducible Builds work for Android APKs.

Something that's very weird to me is how the media narratives around elections in many countries often emphasize victories by the right and downplay victories by the left. Like the narrative in English media leading up to this result was *all* about the surge in the right and RN's inevitability, and *not* the left coalition being built on the fly, even though— if these results bear out— the left coalition was both more significant and ultimately *more successful*.
