I have plenty of experience making software using all sorts of languages, frameworks and tools. Tho I have the most experience with Rust, C++, C#. I also usually do native cross platform applications and backend.
Unfortunately, my current role is impacted by Amazon's move to mandatory co-location for teams, and my family is far too settled in Brooklyn to move away now. So after 7 years at Amazon, I'm starting the search.
I'm looking for a new role as a Front-end engineer/Design technologist/UX Engineer. I like design systems. And CSS. And accessibility. Love those things.

I have over 16 years experience in working within remote/distributed teams and agencies and am efficient in using Adobe CC, Figma, Webflow, Miro. I've done everything from icon and logo/brand design, editorial, interactive brochures and forms, character design.
Such transparent manipulation to get managers to quit without severance.
1. Allow workers to work remotely 2. Shutter local offices 3. Mandate #returnToOffice 4. Attrition!
Remember that this is not the first time IBM pulled this trick. They did the same thing in 2017, when they were being hailed as an innovative company for reducing cost by not having physical offices. They forced people to RTO and caused a bunch of people to quit without severance.
