We're inching closer to feature parity with the official apps as this release brings the "Apps & Media" overview for chats and contacts that has been missing so far. Believe it or not: #deltachat is growing audio/video calls starting with the currently rolling 2.22 releases ... A few people already had two hour long stable calls :)

Calls are an experimental option while we continue to work on reliability, UX/UI revisions, and configuration of TURN servers on #chatmail relays and in clients.

We want calls to reliably work across all major platforms, networks and phones, including #UbuntuTouch

- I personally daily drive #SailfishOS for more than a decade (commercially supported versions of SFOS even have "Android App Support" running inside a container for "that one app" with no native linux port you can't get without)

- I've heard positive things about #postmarketOS and #UbuntuTouch (but don't have personal experience)

New DeltaTouch release 1.3.0 is in the OpenStore, highlights:

🔹 1:1 chats guarantee E2E encryption for introduced contacts
🔸 Viewer for HTML message
🔹 Chats open much faster
🔸 Option in settings to scale the font size in chat list and in chats
