A refreshed #curl #HTTP3 backends image as of today.

It has not gotten easier.

Updates:

- I marked the recommended/experimental columns
- quiche supports "the family"
- we require OpenSSL 3.3 for their QUIC stack

in reply to daniel:// stenberg://

oops, I got the quiche details wrong. And I made the experimental vs recommended a little clearer in an update

I'm listening to a podcast where two women from China are talking about how *nice* and warm-hearted Singaporeans are compared to people back home. They actually said life here is kind of 单纯, simple or even unsophisticated.

I am gobsmacked.

I've always thought Singapore was a rat race. But I guess I wasn't comparing us with China?

If you're curious, this is the podcast. It's in #Mandarin. pod.link/1539110970/episode/f1…

Windows 11 now turns on OneDrive folder backup without your permission

@Sandro Santilli

in reply to Fabio

Ciao @Sandro Santilli

@Fabio

in reply to Signor Amministratore ⁂

in reply to Signor Amministratore ⁂

in reply to Sandro Santilli

in reply to Signor Amministratore ⁂

in reply to Sandro Santilli

mastodon.uno/@fttm@mobilizon.i…
o poliverso.org
poliverso.org/contact/1273975
o livellosegreto.it
livellosegreto.it/@fttm@mobili…
in reply to Signor Amministratore ⁂

in reply to Sandro Santilli

in reply to Sandro Santilli

in reply to Sandro Santilli

@malwareminigun yeps, I already linked my blog post in that thread. I'm pretty sure the audience on that list is aware.

The original question was however "on the web" so I think it was more about how come the browsers don't use it more than ~30%.

I made a new blocklist for bridges to other networks that aren’t opt-in, excluding Twitter (“X”) bridges as they’re already covered by another list of mine. Bridged networks include Nostr, Bluesky, and Mavenly.

More documentation and a direct link are in the “supplementary blocklists” section of my blocklist article.

I removed them from my consensus-informed lists because if you want to block bridged networks, you’re better off with the supplementary lists that don’t have a consensus requirement.

@Ember I’m more worried about mostr than bridgy-fed’s nostr bridge since anybody can point a mostr instance at an unmoderated relay, and open the full unmoderated network to fedi.

I’m assuming two things:

  1. moderated relays are a thing that exist (there should be some that actively block media which could put most servers at risk, at the very least)
  2. bridgy-fed’s nostr bridge uses a moderated relay

because I don’t want to claim otherwise without evidence and I’m too tired to look right now.

Polyfill[.]io is now serving malware.
This is why you should not rely embed third party scripts on your website.
Only load JavaScript from domains you own - and preferably, only load JavaScript you/your organization wrote.
Third party JavaScript is and will always be a threat to privacy and security.

Worth grepping your source code for "polyfill.io" and taking urgent measures to remove that code if you're linking it into your site - the domain name apparently now intermittently serves malicious JavaScript
