If you purchase a company that has: • lied about “ADA compliance”, • stolen content from others, • relied on false advertising, • pushed its broken LLM, • manipulated WAVE checks, • claimed lawsuit protection,

I'm not really sure that these numbers are meaningful. 90% of the Internet does not throttle back when you aren't using it, and can't even do that. So what exactly did they measure? The IAB's e-impact Program is looking at things, but what is clear so far is that many measures are inaccurate; often widely so.
@mcr314 I'm not entirely sure how they are calculated. I am impressed that they are trying to measure it and highlight that impact to their customers.
As to methods to calculate it. Yup. Definitely complicated. Lots of caveats on any number. Much more work is needed on models before we can get accuracy.
Generally though, less is better. Especially less bandwidth and less processing power.
It's really disappointing how much AI-generated crap is out there. Do you think folks actually expect you to pay for these trash findings? Also, have you seen any examples of findings reported with AI that _weren't_ trash?
I can think of some things where AI could help accelerate things, but it seems limited presently. I could imagine someone writing a bot which trolls the dark web and submits findings for employee credentials found, or something like that.

We have to remember language barriers and cultural differences. Sometimes it takes a little back and forth before the real details reveal. I cannot just immediately shout AI just because they phrase themselves oddly.
It's sad to see, I'm conviced LLMs could be used as a good translation/formulation tool for those unfamiliar with english, instead it's used by people who think they can replace jobs they don't even understand. These kinds of reports will probably end up with maintainers (understandably) dismiss any clearly LLM-written report...

I think the only way to effectively combat this is requiring a proof of concept before investigating a security report. This would make it very quick for you to confirm that a bug exists in curl. But I'm not sure that's possible for every security bug in curl.
the TL;DR I got from this is: - strcpy might cause a buffer overflow - there is bounds checking - yes but that might not be sufficient - can you show an example where it's not sufficient - *insert example where bounds checking is sufficient*

@fredbrooker Krom NFC funguje vše. Mám vždy nejnovější Android, což u většiny telefonů říct nejde. Ten systém používám už od Google Pixel 2 XL, což je tak 5-6 let. Ano je s tím ze začátku víc práce, ale to mi nevadí. Prostě mám rád své soukromí:-)
