Read a book. Watch a movie. Go to sleep. Read the news 2 days from now. And in the meantime, keep your negativity to yourself.
People have enough to worry about as it is, without being taken on a pointless roller coaster ride of premature election results coverage and ill-informed speculation.
BTW if you are a U.S. voter, and you try to vote today, and you are denied because of problems with your registration, be aware you may cast a provisional ballot. They put it in an envelope and count it later.

4 General Character. Of course, no one is perfect and we lean into grace but sometimes it's easy to see where one candidate is trying harder to demonstrate selfless rather than selfish behavior. This includes a realistic look at how the candidate has handled his/her own family and interacted with the public in the past.
5 If a candidate is proposing restrictions to health care and education then that candidate is working in direct opposition to the Gospel.
6 A whole life approach to things in general. As opposed to merely “pro-life” this means an attitude that works towards solutions that make the choice for life more likely. So, things like universal child care, access to affordable health care, etc. are to be worked toward.
7 Specific to this election is a consideration of immigration. Here is what the Bible says about that: Leviticus 19:33-34: "When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the Lord your God.” (Note that this is a direct command from God.) Less than 35% of Americans make 100K and they are NOT going to see their taxes increase at all. In fact, their taxes will be reduced for 2025, 2026, 2027, and 2028 under the Harris administration.
1 in 16 Americans do NOT make 250K.
1% of Americans make 400K+.
5% of Americans make 350K+.
The GOP will only reduce taxes for the 1% and the 5% of Americans. Kamala Harris plans to make those who make over 400K pay their fair share.

That red skirt I just mended with the little embroidered daisy? Welp, got it stuck on something and ripped the waist opening of it, didn't I. 😆 I don't have thread or a patching fabric that exactly matches so I went the scrap piece of fabric of a good weight and highly visible mending route. And I know it's not true in the long term, but yeah....
I wished people weren't like this and sadly I have to say "us people", because white folks are constantly messing this up and making it an issue for everybody else.
