I just started this, on the third chapter now where she's on her way to terminate the dungeon. This is unique and the narrator is awesome, so I'll be spending more time on this.

@neurrone Stat blocks start getting better in the third book. She keeps steamrolling over everything; the conflict in the book comes from the danger to her friendlies, and her struggles to develop emotionally and find a purpose in freedom. And her character does develop. But the primary tension is if she'll do the "right" thing or the "logical" thing, rather than if she'll win in combat.

Do I understand it correctly, that Adebar uses the command 'adb backup' as its main engine? I thought that this command doesn't make reliable backups anymore and more and more apps disable the ability for them.
@MichaelZ You do understand correctly. Unfortunately, the `adb backup` command was pretty much castrated from around Android 10 onward, and no replacement provided. So reliable backups cannot be done with that anymore.
If your device is rooted, Adebar provides replacements for backup/restore, too – otherwise, you can still use it for device documentation. Sorry, not much that can be done about that (apart from using a companion app, which I cannot provide).

@ascherbaum no clue really, but it was sloppy of me to run it without the power plug inserted to begin with. It has actually done that kind of abrupt unexpected switch-off before - but I don't know why they happen. They only happen when running on battery. It's a rather old laptop by now too.
