One of the cool traditions that I appreciate very much in Canadian elections is how we tone things down on Election Day.

1) Most people stop talking partisan politics -- It's the day to vote, debate is over. That's why you won't see me posting partisan stuff today (US Presidential Interference aside).

2) In general, it's considered impolite to ask people who they vote for. Even when door knocking for a party on the doorstep, the question is not “will you be voting for us”, it is “may I ask who you might vote for”, and very often the answer is, “no, you may not ask”, and that's OK and everyone moves on.

People respect other's right to make their own decision.

Take care all. Please vote. Have a wonderful day and celebrate our wonderful country and democracy.

You might have seen a post being shared around saying Canada has opened up its suicide hotline to American citizens with Trump threatening a shutdown of ours in the US.

The number it links to is the Trans Helpline. This is likely a right wing attempt to try to flood and overwhelm the hotline and hurt trans people.

Please be careful and check on this before you share them. And if you see an account for a Jeras Ikehorn which seems to be bridged here from Bluesky, know this is the second time in several weeks they have blatantly shared misinformation that harms trans people.

O2 už od minulého čtvrtka znovu blokuje několik našich domén jejich službou vtipně nazvanou "O2 Security" kterou zákazníkům automaticky zapíná.

Řešíme jak se bránit formální cestou - stížností na ČTÚ a předžalobní výzvou - do té doby ale oceníme vaší pomoc.

Co pomůže? Kontaktovat O2 a dožadovat se odblokování.

A taky pomoc se zviditelněním problému, tak aby ho začalo O2 seriózně řešit. Nejspíš totiž nebudeme jediní koho bezdůvodně blokují.

Like last year's model, you can swap the back cover but this time you can also attach their fisheye/macro lenses. Unlike last year's, the 2 Pro supports NFC!

Elsewhere it has a 6.77" FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED, a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chip, and a 5000mAh battery with 33W charging speed. Oh and its design certainly stands out, as usual.

@lauteshirn Passwörter sollten automatisch wieder aus der Zwischenablage entfernt werden. "… tauchen auch Passwörter auf, die beispielsweise aus einem Passwort-Manager kopiert wurden …" sollte daher eigentlich nicht passieren.

Ob das jetzt allerdings die Schuld der Zwischenablage ist, die Kopien aus Safes entsprechend behandeln sollte – oder das Problem eines Safes, der das nicht entsprechend kommuniziert hat, geht aus dem Artikel allerdings in der Tat nicht hervor.
