I love #LibreOffice as it allows me to earn a living as a freelance writer. Even though I write for many opensource projects it's my most used opensource tool. It rocks.

I love #LibreOffice because personal documents can't be tied to any company or propietary format: they must survive obsolescence for any time length. And for their transparent, predictible flow of improvements.

Do you want these stickers? Of course you do! And you can get them by just posting here why you love #LibreOffice (with the hashtag), as part of our Month of LibreOffice campaign: blog.documentfoundation.org/bl… #foss #OpenSource

I can only recommend #LibreOffice It will give you everything that Microsoft charges you for without it costing you a penny. It allows you to just save your work without being “dark path” pushed or forced to save it into a OneDrive “cloud” where they can see your information. It hasn’t got the subscription nonsense of MS365. We use it as Digital Champions with our digitally disadvantaged adults to teach them basic computer skills

It seems clear to me that the embarrassment lands squarely on the tech media, who should be far better at communicating "#OpenOffice is not what you're looking for, use #LibreOffice @libreoffice instead". That's firmly within the tech media's job.

The job of @TheASF lies primarily in maintaining software. Let them maintain whatever software, for as long as people want it maintained.
