I won a contest @libreoffice held, and I got all this KILLER LibreOffice swag from them.

I've used LibreOffice for so many years, from back in the mid 2000s when it was OpenOffice. It's better than Microsoft Office. It's totally free and open source, and you don't have to be logged in like you do now with Office.

Try it out if you haven't, you won't regret it.

Some great reasons to use LibreOffice instead of Microsoft 365

- It Works With Microsoft Office Files
- It Has Lots of Features
- It Is Cross-Platform
- It Keeps My Information Private
- You Can Sync Files With LibreOffice if You Want To

I personally have been using it for years, I love it. This article does a great job of outlining some of the reasons why.

Here's another #LibreOffice tip you may not know about! If you've hidden some rows or columns in a spreadsheet, but want to see where they are, go to View ▸ Hidden Row/Column Indicator in the menu. Then you'll see dots, like this:

Here's another #LibreOffice feature you might not know about! If you're looking for a feature but can't find it in the menu, go to Help ▸ Search Commands (or use the shortcut ⇧ Shift + Esc). Type a few letters and you can see where in the menu to find it! 👍 #foss #opensource #tip

@libreoffice, at libreoffice.org/download/porta… you suggest downloading “LibreOffice 24.2.3 Portable MultilingualStandard”, but when I try to do this I get a notification about an untrusted secure connection certificate on the rbc.ru website : "Secure Site Not Available. You've enabled HTTPS-Only Mode for enhanced security, and a HTTPS version of libreoffice-mirror.rbc.ru is not available." You should be more careful when choosing partners from Russia.
