Remember the Microsoft Office macro hardening changes for internet documents? I just got it on my corp laptop as it's in O365 semi-annual channel now.

THANK YOU to those at MS who got this over the line, they know who they are. Single biggest change in cybersecurity industry in a decade, IMHO. Yes, attackers have and will evolve - but they should be.

This one cost lots of people political capital, but it was absolutely the right thing to do.

Another nice extension would be to let room admins block a user’s IP or CIDR without exposing what their IP actually is (ignoring that you could figure it out by correlating with other known IPs). eg “block alice’s /32” or “block alice’s /24” or even “block alice’s AS” without revealing her IP

Not only does Elon Musk not have a clue what he’s talking about, but this is *exactly* what he tried to do at PayPal, claiming it needed a full “V2” rewrite of the code when it didn’t.

Instead, it shifted resources away from key areas, caused PayPal to lose much more money to fraud, and eventually got him ousted as CEO.

When y’all argue to abolish copyright so you can use other people’s photos, be aware that you are aren’t sticking it to corporations. You’re mostly sticking it indie artists who barely make rent.

Photographers, on average, make about $18/hr. That’s about half the rate of a high school teacher. Asking them to give up rights to their work is not a great look.

Don't know if you're taking audience questions, but do you feel like the full potential to have a clean-sheet design for this rack-scale computer has been compromised by the need to use hardware virtualization as your unit of computation? Wouldn't it be a cleaner design from bottom to top if you could use OS zones? I remember why you had to give up on LX-branded zones in particular. Just wonder how you feel about the impact of this decision on your value proposition.
