@rholas Ty jo, fakt? Mně naopak ty vlákna přijdou oproti ostatním appkám neuvěřitelně přehledný a za nic bych už neměnil. 😄 U tmavýho tématu bych ještě ocenil možnost černýho pozadí (pro OLED displeje), ale i takhle je to super.

Jinak super fičura je Catch-up, zobrazí to krásnej chronologickej souhrn z danýho časovýho úseku.

I don't mean about Onion. Who is the "someone would trace people?". There is a huge difference between "someone could with huge difficulties and huge technical means" and "I actively participate in organized tracing of millions people".

This is actually showing a new thing compared to what we had a year ago and compared to @brainblasted@crab.garden's recent screenshots - treeview and about dialog links update properly, previously they didn't - this required a bunch of fixes in GTK and an awful workaround in libadwaita because I didn't want to deal with treeview code (it's deprecated anyway, one more reason to move away from it)

I met with @pabloyoyoista today. We talked, amongst other, about the directions of Papers. As part of my #GSoC project, for example, I'm tackling gestures. It'll be a clean-up as much as will enable touchscreen users, who currently cannot select text, nor add annotations.
Yes, the pizza at the end is obligatory. (Would've been a boring picture otherwise, right?) And yes, they were paid for from a #postmarketOS running device.
A Google Pixel 3A and a OnePlus 6, both running unmerged branches of Papers. On the Pixel you see a text selection. Next to them there are to pizzas.

Definitely orange warning sign (although I suspect, living in the UK where this image is from, that it's actually a yellow sign and it's just the light making it look orange, but yes it presents as orange, even though it's probably yellow) which presumably reads warning danger floodwaters or similar, however it's submerged in floodwaters so only the WARNING is visible.

Pre-pandemic laws banning masks from group events were always harmful. We should have learned from the pandemic that we need to do more to normalize public health tools like masks. After seeing so much death and harm that is continuing, it makes no sense to roll back mask laws.

@FreakyFwoof I actually bought it and tried it. The app is a bit confusing to use and I could not initiate the connection without a sighted person’s help. I wrote to the company but so far only got the “we are sorry” response with no commitment to #accessibility as of this writing. It's best to use the drone outside as it needs quite a bit of room for most of its modes to work well. Great idea though!
