This isn't really very spicy, and I'm not suggesting that Microsoft are trying to blame curl for Microsoft's previously-insufficient security controls. I knew curl shipped with Windows for quite a few years now, but I guess I hadn't realized (or had never considered) that Invoke-WebRequest is more or less a curl wrapper.
I hope I can be forgiven for misinterpreting what Microsoft wrote there to mean that Invoke-Webrequest is backed by the real actual curl when it isn't.

I'm noticing a weird thing in files on IOS 26. If I open an mp3 file, VLC opens it. Is there a way to change this behavior? I don't always want it doing that.
When you move to the file, flick the rotor down until you come to "get info.. A one finger triple tap would also get you to the context menu which includes get ingo. Once in there, you can change the always open with default. There's also the "share" option when you have a default but want to open a file in a different app.
