During Canadian Federal Elections, poll workers have been known to direct husbands and wives to booths at opposing ends of the room, so as ensure spouses are not ‘monitored’ by each other. I have worked one once and was told by the husband “I just want to make sure she doesn’t make a mistake.” I told him that she was probably old enough to manage in her own to make an ‘X.’ She looked down as she smiled. He wandered off grumbling. I didn’t care how he reacted.

Working on a prototype in PocketPages. It's a bit rough around the edges but rapidly improving, and I'm having a blast.

Feels like the good parts of old school PHP development, with database and schema management built in, the ability to fall back to Go when you need it, real-time support and a Dart SDK for Flutter, plus other community-supported client APIs of course. About the only thing missing for me is switching SQLite out for something like Postgres if your prototype ever grows large enough, but since 90+% of them won't, I'm just not sweating it.
