@Jonathan It basically let's you do text to speech but without needing to screw around with programs like Balabolka, and this also has the advantage of you not needing to have many TTS voices installed on your computer, since this connects to the coagulator and any speech providers that are logged on to the coagulator will show the voices they have available, which is pretty neat
@Jonathan He does have a release thing on GitHub but you're better off using the Seediffusion G4p one since you can just run it and boom, its all set up to use our coagulator, and as Seediffusion G4p does a lot of TTS stuff we decided its alright for us to host a publically accessible coagulator.
@Jonathan Voices are also added when others log their providers on, so if you were using STAR on Linux and everyone else you knew only had Windows or Mac, you'd still be able to use those voices.
Oh okay. I'm guessing you guys are hosting the coagulator off of a Windows machine? I guess I don't understand how the coagulator would work on Linux, as I don't know where it would pull the TTS voices from.
@Jonathan so I know it's a Python script to host the coagulator relay, it works on Mac OS but I'm not sure if he's added an adapter that interfaces with Speech-dispatcher for Linux or not, maybe. Would be cool though, this is a great project for sure.
