ok, I really need help fixing this whole being able to up and down arrow in a listbox of things in my browser when I am using #NVDA. something is breaking it, and I don't know why. I now can't even select what phone to install an app on.
@NVAccess I haven't tried it with addons disabled yet, but I can. so far for me, it is any URL that I go to where I need to press enter on a list to select something. the google playstore for example where I am trying to select what phone to install an app too.
I just had a quick look (NVDA 2025.2, no add-ons and Microsoft Edge - you didn't mention which browser) and I can navigate that list to choose what device to install something from Google play on without any issue or slowdown etc..... FWIW, I used play.google.com/store/apps/det… since it was one of the first it wanted to suggest to me (apparently I can install it on Windows as well as Android?)

is there a theme/setting where I can see the Writer page in white when my Win11 system is in Dark Mode? It's really hard to lay out items for printing when the page background is black! So much so I actually toggle my entire system to Light Mode whenever I need to use LO Writer. So far I've only found an unreliable setting that does it only for the current file.
Bei mir wurde heute eine Betrugsmasche versucht. Ein in Firmenuniform gekleideter Mensch der sich als Außendienstmitarbeiter meines Stromanbieters ausgegeben hat stand vor meiner Tür und wollte mein Einverständnis zum austausch meines Stromzählers und meine Stromzählernummer und mein Einverständnis (war rellativ unspeziefisch) wo ich ja angeblich schon zu aufgefordert wurden sei irgenwas einzureichen. Ich habe weil mir nicht so ganz verständlich war wozu er mein einverständnis genau haben will und mir nicht ersichtlich war warum er meine Daten braucht keine weiteren Informationen herausgegeben und lange genug nachgefragt dass die Person merklich ungeduldig wurde und er ist schließlich geganen mit der ausrede Zeit und er wartet nicht als ich meinte ich brauche kurz 5 minuten um seine Aussagen zu überprüfen.
Ich habe diese Person nicht in meine Wohnung gelassen und bin auch nicht auf den Betrug hineingefallen.
Es wirkte allerdings zumindest anfänglich recht seriös was die Masche gefählich macht.

FreeBSD ports tree does break compatibility with old releases when needed, but it doesn't really happen all that often and if you really needed to it's trivial to backport the updates yourself to your branch of the ports tree and get working, updated packages.
Also upgrading between major releases is significantly less disruptive anyway, soooo.... it's not hard to upgrade

New from 404 Media: ICE added a random person to group chat, exposed highly sensitive details about an active manhunt in real-time. The texts were sent to a group called “Mass Text” and show ICE using DMV and license plate reader data in an attempt to find their target, copies of the messages obtained by 404 Media show.
