Hi @badger, I’ve got a question: what’s your opinion on providing statically built curl binaries on your curl Releases page: github.com/curl/curl/releases ?
I know it’s customary to provide sources and leave building binaries to packagers but IMO curl is a special kind of tool that people usually need once for some constrained environments.
I’ve seen that there are already such repos: github.com/moparisthebest/stat… (that I used myself for armv7!) but I guess it'd be nice to have them in a more “official” way and your CI probably already builds it for various architectures.

I was commenting to clarify, that there are issues with the build script and people seeing this here would run into problems trying to build/install the package.
Curl being so centric for the distribution and people installing it from other sources (and potentially breaking their systems) eventually ends up being a support case 🙃
The more people are aware of any issues, the better (in my book).
I’ve seen coverage reports that tells you how many times a row was ran during the tests, but that can be skewed by things such as loops.
Either way, I just got curious as curl is a fairly unusual piece of software and quite interesting in many ways beyond “it’s one heck of a useful tool”:)

As of now, I will never buy a new book published by Hachette, HarperCollins, Wiley, and Penguin Random House. I will source second-hand copies or borrow them from libraries, but never again pay for a new book that will put money into the hands of these content-hoarding corporations.

Ostatní uživatelé si mohou filtrovat příspěvky na federované ose podle jazyka příspěvků, a podle toho sbírat a poznávat nové uživatele. Pokud budou mít nastavený filtr na češtinu, a vy nebudete mít jazyk příspěvků nastavený na češtinu, vaše příspěvky tak neuvidí. :)
Jazyk příspěvku můžete dočasně měnit i u políčka pro přidávání příspěvků. Je to čtvrtá ikonka se zkratkou jazyka (EN/CS/...)
