I think I was starting to head that way with Claude before I quit a couple of weeks ago. Thankfully I didn't use it much for actual coding work; I gave it a few one-off tasks, but was mostly unsatisfied with the results. But I did use it for other things, and I admit, even started to talk to it like a friend sometimes. But a few weeks ago, I reevaluated whether I should use LLMs, and decided to discontinue all personal use. No withdrawal symptoms yet, so maybe I didn't go too far.

It’s easy, all you need to do is open your Gmail settings, scroll past the “smart features” options that are all set to off, find the Data Privacy menu, scroll past the “smart features” options that are all set to off, then go into the Google Workplace smart features menu where the smart menu features that should all be forced off per domain policy set in the admin panel are turned on because what does “permission” really mean really if you think about it, and turn them off, then choose “done”.

Ich fände einen ICE-Anschluss für #Chemnitz gut. Aber ich versuche realistisch zu bleiben. zB: Wenn der ICE genauso schnell wie der aktuelle RE3 ist, halte ich einen ICE für sinnfrei. RE 3 braucht 1:00 von C Hbf nach DD Hbf. IC 2270 braucht 0:59 für die Strecke. Für diese Strecke mach eine schnellere Zuggattung daher objektiv wenig Sinn. Macht nur wegen umstiegsfreier Weiterfahrt Sinn.
Darauf will ich halt hinaus. Wir müssen erst die Strecken ertüchtigen, dann können wir da schnellere Züge fahren lassen.
Wenn die Gleise eine Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzung von 120 km/h haben, macht es für die Reisegeschwindigkeit kaum einen Unterschied ob da de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stadler_… (Höchstgeschwindigkeit: 120 km/h) oder de.wikipedia.org/wiki/DB-Baure… (Höchstgeschwindigkeit: 320 km/h) fährt.
