I'm going to introduce a new to me concept: #enfascisisation, to rhyme, rather bitterly, with @pluralistic's #enshittification.

Enfascisisation is the process of making a society more vulnerable to #fascism, especially by spreading the belief that the triumph of fascism is inevitable. Thus when the #BBC asks Starmer whether he's happy for his daughter to walk past an asylum hostel, one could say "the BBC is engaged in enfascisisation".

"Welcome to the new normal, where a late-night comedian making fun of the president is 'the sickest conduct possible,' but calling for trans people to be institutionalized was just Charlie Kirk practicing politics the right way."
