Vulkan - new graphics API

I was doing different refactorings of our engine for last 1.5 years. It's allowed me to add a new backend (graphics API) - Vulkan. It's relatively new API (as D3D12) which allows us to have a more predictable and stable performance.

I'm making a #indiegame where you play as a #dinosaur to find out about your past, as well as take care of a baby #Daspletosarus. It's called Zid Journey!

It's a sequel to cozy #pointandclick #adventuregame Zniw Adventure and features charming cartoony artstyle.

I enjoy #paleontology (both exctinct and extant😉) so the game is full of age- and place- accurate #prehistoric creatures.

Any good places can promote my game? Are there any sites that can write about it?

Today I've done some solid progress on the #Liblast character refactor! I've laid out basic decoupled Character → HUD interfacing. I've created a global way to manage the currently followed character (Character's camera and HUD watch for changes and update their stuff accordingly). I've also used @Xantulon 's first person hands model as a better placeholder :D I've created a bunch of new classes for tracking Character state (health, team, score) and damage.

Wow, it’s kind of nuts how a redraw of a character can look radically different.

I feel like I did a pretty good job of capturing a Sierra look-and-feel for the second sprite. Anyway, here’s my sad fisherman. #PixelArt
