@NVAccess The download page at nvaccess.org/download/ appears to be broken, namely the heading at the top still says NVDA version 2024.4.2 and that's the one being downloaded, rather than 2025.1.1.
That's rather interesting and odd. I've tried a private browsing window and it was still showing 2024.4.2, then I tried a regular window, and only after CTRL+F5 the issue was resolved, though multiple people are noticing the same thing. Originally it was reported by a few users on the audiogames forum and I wanted to check if you can do something on your end, something seems to be cached that shouldn't be.

@DavidGoldfield Was seeing the same thing until I did a control+f5 in firefox. Your phone likely is caching DNS records or something. Even if you hard refresh on Windows do you still see 2024.4.2?

On January 3, 2025, I walked around my parents house with my Soma Labs Ether connected to a digital recorder, and captured about 17 minutes of electronic noises. I then divided that audio into 8 equal length tracks, and went wild with effects, mostly filters, panning, and other LFO-driven stuff. The result is 2 minutes and 9 seconds of what I call the low effort noise machine.

I've been practicing #guitar regularly using Captrice for about a month now. Mainly focusing on alternate picking and legato. Yesterday was the first time I was able to manage 8th note triplets at 200 bpm. I have always struggled with alt picking at high speeds. But yesterday it felt like some thing got unlocked! Still need to work on clarity and control.
Happy to say that the guitar practice tool I've been building is indeed effective - captrice.io. I am obviously biased but it does work 😀 . Do give it a try if you play guitar or forward it with any one who may find it useful.
