Montréal suburb Brossard has a traffic light in a school zone that defaults to red, and only turns green when an attached speed camera detects a car driving under the speed limit.
The light is on a 90-day trial, on a 2-lane residential street. Similar signals are widespread across Europe.
Before it was installed, average vehicle speeds of 40 km/h. But in the past week, average speeds have dropped to 29 km/h.

This is true for anything I've come across, anyway. Even if the same person who posted it boosts it, that's not enough. Has to be the original only.
I've always loved reading articles by former Apple Retail employees. I loved reading them before I worked for Apple. I liked reading them while I worked for Apple. But it's interesting reading this article from Medium now, after spending five years with the company. I was at Apple from late 2015 to late 2020. En vez no, a la vez. Lo de que haciendo más pisos se bajan los precios ya se probó con la ley 6/1998, del suelo, y ya vimos los resultados 10 años más tarde: pisos vacíos, precios altos. Dicho lo cual, si se mantienen en titularidad pública sí que podría ayudar, pero construir leva más tiempo que expropiar, y hay que empezar cuanto antes.

For those wondering, ′′how did i do it?": I boiled 10L of water, added 2 tablespoons of vinegar, 1 teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate, two cups of coke, and half cup of lemon juice, then stirred well. Waited 3 minutes, put the pan in the solution for 45 minutes, then added a quarter cup of chlorine bleach to the mixture. Then I brushed it with a firm toothbrush and put it back into the liquid for another 25 minutes. I took it out, rinsed it, and it looked exactly the same, so I threw it away, and went and bought a new one.
Edit: Please don’t actually make this concoction! The resulting mixture may produce poisonous gases! This toot is a joke, the pictures are not even my pans. I didn’t throw any pans away. Following these directions, despite the fact it probably won’t do anything useful, would be fucking stupid and you may win a Darwin Award.
