@rholas Ty jo, fakt? Mně naopak ty vlákna přijdou oproti ostatním appkám neuvěřitelně přehledný a za nic bych už neměnil. 😄 U tmavýho tématu bych ještě ocenil možnost černýho pozadí (pro OLED displeje), ale i takhle je to super.

Jinak super fičura je Catch-up, zobrazí to krásnej chronologickej souhrn z danýho časovýho úseku.

This is actually showing a new thing compared to what we had a year ago and compared to @brainblasted@crab.garden's recent screenshots - treeview and about dialog links update properly, previously they didn't - this required a bunch of fixes in GTK and an awful workaround in libadwaita because I didn't want to deal with treeview code (it's deprecated anyway, one more reason to move away from it)

I met with @pabloyoyoista today. We talked, amongst other, about the directions of Papers. As part of my #GSoC project, for example, I'm tackling gestures. It'll be a clean-up as much as will enable touchscreen users, who currently cannot select text, nor add annotations.
Yes, the pizza at the end is obligatory. (Would've been a boring picture otherwise, right?) And yes, they were paid for from a #postmarketOS running device.
A Google Pixel 3A and a OnePlus 6, both running unmerged branches of Papers. On the Pixel you see a text selection. Next to them there are to pizzas.

This is absolutely shameful! New York has suffered so much from COVID, and COVID is not over. We should be normalizing and depoliticizing masks, not banning them.

Saying that covering faces allows protesters to have some level of anonymity to be more aggressive, to me more entitled to say what they want because they don’t fear repercussion in the same way. Would you support that endeavor? Governor Hochul: There was a ban on masks before the pandemic that you couldn't have face coverings that didn't serve a purpose. For example, a surgical mask for someone who is elderly or ill — the pandemic removed that from our State Law. It was repealed at the time, but I absolutely will go back and take a look at this and see whether it can be restored because it is frightening to people. You're sitting on a subway train and someone puts on a mask like this and comes in — you don't know if they're going to be committing a crime, they're going to have a gun, or whether they're just going to be threatening or intimidating you because you are Jewish, which is exactly what happened the other day. Absolutely unacceptable in the State of New York.

@FreakyFwoof I actually bought it and tried it. The app is a bit confusing to use and I could not initiate the connection without a sighted person’s help. I wrote to the company but so far only got the “we are sorry” response with no commitment to #accessibility as of this writing. It's best to use the drone outside as it needs quite a bit of room for most of its modes to work well. Great idea though!
